Sulbutiamine is a synthesized supplement that is similar to vitamin B1 that is used to help treat asthenia (feeling of fatigue and weakness). When taken, sulbutiamine increases thiamine levels in the brain which has shown to enhance athletic performance. There have also been some links that sulbutiamine may help with increasing attention levels in patients suffering from early and moderate stages of Alzheimer’s disease.

Side effects that may occur while using sulbutiamine are nausea, headache, tiredness, and insomnia.
